Cinnamon Whiskey, Kisses & Improv

And so we find ourselves at Monday again, I hope everybody had a somewhat exciting weekend! My own was perfectly swell, I’m not sure why but the last few weeks I have really been appreciating my weekends all the more- Two days to just do whatever you want really, so nice!

Anyway this Saturday just past I went to a party at my friend Phillip’s house to celebrate his birthday and gee whiz what a night it was- spent meeting some crazy nice people, trying not to get involved in the battle for who played DJ and getting my head around a game called flip cup that people seemed to be going gaga for. Great Night!

Back To The Future

Last Saturday myself and Sinead decided to take a different route to Dufferin Mall and explore the back streets on the way. It was on this little walk that we stumbled across a weird shopping centre that's decor looked like it had not been changed since the 1980's- complete with outdated toys, video games, a trading card machine and even a small amusement park in the parking lot.

Rest assured we had an awesome time in our little 80's paradise and were suddenly overcome with the urge to sing songs like Safety Dance and Wake Me Up Before You Go Go for the rest of the day. Lovely Lovely!

Mad Crushin' On Orla Kiely

Spring Spring Spring, the most wonderful time of the year! And what could make my already promising springtime even better you might ask? Well adding one of these enchanting Orla Kiely creations to my wardrobe might be one way.

Aren't they just lovely? I can already envision myself in one of these magical dresses, skipping through a vast field of tulips and daffodils, whilst singing along to something perfectly airy and upbeat. But now I guess with an average price tag of six hundred dollars each, my day dreams will have to do for now. Dang!

Be-Bop-A-Lula

Salutations dear lads and lassies! After spending most the night in between a state of lucid dreams of falling through the night sky and trying to block out the constant coughs of my sickly housemates, I awoke to yet another lovely sunny day in Toronto with the air smelling like old times.

So why I take a moment to appreciate the smaller wonders in life, lets all take a look at how my Saturday evening with celebrating the birthday of my wonderful new friend Stephanie went...

Bryan came over to say hello and give me and Sinead some of his old shirts

Which we both decided would make the perfect attire for the evening

Then we left for an English Pub called Friar & Firkin

Where we meet up with the lovely Stephanie and Tong to indulge in some early birthday celebrations

We spent a good majority of the time singing along to tunes by the Backstreet Boys & Spice Girls

Before deciding it was well past time for us to be dancing, so we headed to Cherry Cola to shake, rattle and roll to some swingin' songs

Happy Birthday Stephanie (-:
