A Postcard From London

Hello my lovely friends! I can not talk long as I places to go and people to meet in this lovely city of London.

I am having such a wonderful time- dancing until my feet are sore, drinking and eating in abundance and walking around in a twilight splendour.

We returned from Paris a few days ago, it was everything I always dreamed it would be and more! The spiralling streets, the beautiful people and the street screaming with history.

We meet some amazing people at Le Tape Bar in Bastille who we spent the night drinking Mojitos with and talking about the wonders of Paris. One of them decided I looked like a David Lynch character and took my picture for his Tumblr, you can check it out at www.unknownproject.tumblr.com.

Must run, Au Revoir xo

Panic On The Streets Of London

A few months ago my dear sister Emmily surprised me with perhaps one of the nicest presents I have ever received- A return ticket to London this November! Which although I have been quietly anticipating this trip ever since, it has just felt so far away for so long that part of me thought November would never come. But now with the beginning of October, also brings only 5 short weeks until I shall be jet setting my way to the swinging city of London for the first time ever! Plus a four day trip to the dreamy city of Old Paree...

To say I'm excited would be the understatement of the century, perhaps the more suitable phrase would be 'over the moon' ecstatic! Soon I shall be strolling along the Seine River with the two of the finest people I know, shopping in the hip Camden Town, drinking wine in the many cafes of Montmarte and dancing until my feet hurt in the night spots of London. Ahhh blissful times ahead indeed...

Rama Lama Ding Dong!

Hello, hello! Long time no see my dear friends! I would like to say I've been extremely busy doing other more exciting things, but now that would be a lie. I guess I've just been lacking in the creative motivational department at the moment, I haven't even been day dreaming as much as I usually do. Alas, hopefully this will fade with the ending of winter...

Anyway enough about that. Here are some photographs from my recent trip to the wonderful city of Melbourne, that was perhaps a little too short, but still lovely! Would love to hear what you think?

Street Art Of Williamsburg

Salutations dear ones! I hope everybody has been perfectly smashing these past few days!

After arriving in Auckland just five short days ago after a very long trip from Toronto (which included a stop over in LAX Airport in which I shared an elevator with Reese Witherspoon- gasp!), I am slowly starting to feel a bit more settled with my surroundings once again. Which of course means more regular blogging! Yay!

So lets start with some insight into my latest trip to New York City, in which I finally got the chance to head over to Williamsburg, Brooklyn- definitely one of the best places I have been to in a long time! The streets of Williamsburg are buzzing with culture, beautiful people and some very amazing art lining the streets- the latter of which is what I want to share with you all today. I would love to hear your thoughts on them!

Ahhh it feels good to be back at my sweet little blog (-:

J'ai Rêvé New York

With the arrival of June, so to comes the arrival of my birthday month. And what better way to spend ones birthday then with four lovely days in old New York City with one of my favourite people in the world!

Ahhh how lovely it is that this time next week I shall be boarding that bus that it is going to take me back to the Big Apple for one more time before I flee this part of the world for a while.

I look forward to an adventure filled trip complete with hazy nights, getting lost in the spiralling streets and complete spontaneity!

What is everybody else's exciting summer plans?

Au Revoir Sweet Canada

So I have been in a state of a kind of floating the past few weeks, which I accredit to the fact that I know a change is coming. You would think that after two years of packing up my suitcase and moving on pretty frequently, that I would be used to it all by now- but not really, I just have a better idea of what to expect from it all.

And so with the dawning of my last month in Canada starting, so also does the process of preparing to close another chapter of my life and begin another- For this time next month I shall be leaving Toronto and heading to Auckland, New Zealand to stay with my dear sister Emmily for a little while.

I still find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that it has been close to two years since I set out from my home and came to live in Vancouver, really on a whim. I have seen so many places and met so many people in that time that I feel like my head could explode remembering it all- and this is only the beginning! But I think it is time for me to head back to Australia soon and start some study, probably in Melbourne.

Now only if I could make a proper decision on what I should be studying! How lovely would it be to study abroad, oh to dream!

Dernier Jour De Montreal

So now this Thursday morning whilst I sit and ponder the more important things in life, lets all take a look at how I passed the time on my final day in the wonderful city of Montreal...

Deciding that the idea that we could come to Montreal and not at one point try a bagel seemed ludicrous, we started the day at a lovely little eatery on Mount Royal Street for a very tasty breakfast.

Continuing for a long stroll down Mount Royal, where unfortunately due to it being Easter Sunday a lot of the shops were closed. We did however find a place that made deserts and I tried my first ever macaroon- which even though they look like little cookies, they are more like cakes- nom nom.

Then we caught the train over to Old Montreal, but stopped along the way to get some nice photo booth pictures.

We found the nicest cafe in Old Montreal called Marche De La Villette, where we had a waiter with eyes like the moon and a sweet man who played songs on his accordion- thus it seemed terribly appropriate that we drink some wine.

As it goes after a few glasses of fine wine we were dancing through the streets with a lighter head and heart.

We stopped by the Notre Dame Cathedral, which looked like it was built from dreams on the inside.

And so ends my trip in Montreal, how I wish I was still there!
